Mr. Zeya has been Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RGK + Z&A Group since 1997. This period has been the rapid development of the group, including through supporting and most diverse providers of professional and technical services in Myanmar Electric Power and energy Industry with diversify business of health care and medical systems. Started as an Engineering firm since 1996 for the Electric Power Market of Myanmar and has expanded the business with the various opportunities & needs of the Country development and infrastructure. Today, RGK + Z&A Group, with different business units, has an annual turnover about 100 Million USD and partnership investment with the regional investors. Total investment value up to date is about 2 Billions USD.

RGK + Z&A Group does Government Contracting and Trading of Electrical Power Systems EPC, Independent/ Power Producer, Electric Power Trading (Mini Grids Operator), Green Energy, Medical Systems and Air Systems. Royal GK + Zeya & Associates, was started since 1996 with the sustainable growth and continuing success within 20 years. Myanmar Central Power was born in 2013 as an independent power producer and become a key player in Myanmar power industry.

Mr. Zeya holds MBA from the University of Chicago Booth, a Bachelor of Arts in History and an Associate Degree in Mechanical Power Engineering. He is a Life Member of the University of Chicago’s Harper Society. Besides, he is a Research Fellow of Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS). He is now studying for his Doctor of Business Administration at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Mr. Zeya has strong analytical and lead the development and execution of a successful competitive strategy, unique skills and competencies to succeed in this role. He was responsible for multiple roles; a strategist, a negotiator, a motivator and an innovator. He has got practical approach to creating competitive advantage, designing growth strategies and international strategy, negotiating successful strategy execution and building a sustainable ecosystem for innovation and change. He has extensive skills of financial strategy and corporate strategy. His local and international experiences give him a rare dual perspective that lends integrity and pragmatism to everything he undertakes.

The first thermal IPP in Myanmar with 2×25 MW Gas Power Plants on long term basis, and 1300MW Natural Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) based (11) Power Plants with overseas investments. Another milestone is that Myanmar’s First LNG – to – Power Project started generating electricity for Yangon in August 2020.

Currently, Mr. Zeya is serving as a Principal of Mandalay Capital Company Limited.
